Partner, Newcastle and Hunter

With over 30 years of experience in public practice accounting, Jason specialises in working with businesses in the hospitality industry. He works with business owners and leaders in the sector, focusing on management accounting, benchmarking, systems review and reporting for hospitality clients. Working closely with his clients, Jason’s commitment to becoming an integral part in the management of their businesses, ensuring that they receive timely and practical advice on their business operations is highly valued.

Jason’s many years of experience in dealing with the industry allows him to share specialist knowledge with his clients whether it be through management reporting, benchmarking the different areas of the venue or working directly with owners to ensure the business is achieving optimal results. Many of Jason’s clients own multiple hotels, located along the east coast of New South Wales, particularly in Sydney and the Central Coast.

Having worked with hospitality businesses for over 25 years, Jason admits that he loves providing insights that pack a punch, especially when these insights provide time-poor business owners and leaders with peace of mind.

Jason thrives on developing genuine connections with his clients and you will mostly find him on the road visiting client premises, sharing knowledge and industry updates, and how it effects their business. The network of contacts he has built over the years assists him keeping up to date with what’s happening in the industry.

Joining DFK Crosbie in 1999, Jason became a partner of the firm in July 2009. In his many years of working with the hospitality industry he has developed great knowledge in the areas of management reporting, benchmarking and strategic advice. He remains a partner of the firm following the merge of DFK Crosbie and Pitcher Partners Newcastle and Hunter to unite under the Pitcher Partners brand in late-2021.
