With over 15 years’ experience as an accountant and advisor, Jo specialises in working with business owners and leaders in the hospitality and hotels and accommodation industries. Valued by her clients and colleagues alike for her ability to listen and provide advice unique to the situation (whether it’s accounting-specific or not), Jo prides herself on her ability to look beyond the numbers and data.

Through thorough analysis and application of the industry knowledge built throughout her career, Jo knows the best practices that are most suitable to her client’s unique situation. Over the years, she has developed strong client relationships, getting to know and understand the people behind the businesses she works with every day.

Whether she is working with a single family-owned hotel or a larger hotel group, Jo has the ability to understand the level of nurturing and explanation required each step of the way. A key inspiration in her work is the hardworking nature of hotel owners which pushes her to go the extra mile in every matter she works on with her clients.

Jo’s experience is built on her early career in bookkeeping followed by commencing with DFK Crosbie as a trainee. Working primarily with business owners and leaders in the hospitality industry, a number of Jo’s clients have worked with her since her early career. Learning about the industry from colleagues and clients, Jo continues to love working with hospitality businesses across New South Wales.

Joining DFK Crosbie in 2009, Jo has been a manager with the firm since 2019. She remains a manager of the firm following the merge of DFK Crosbie and Pitcher Partners Newcastle and Hunter to unite under the Pitcher Partners brand in late-2021.
