Manager, Newcastle and Hunter
Sarah is an accountant and advisor who specialises in providing accounting and audit services to registered clubs and not-for-profit organisations. Throughout her career to date, which spans over 15 years, Sarah has built strong client relationships due to her reliable, trustworthy, and attentive nature. Her clients know they can call with questions any time and they value the wealth of knowledge and support they get through one-on-one time with Sarah.
Always learning and looking for new ways to improve systems and processes, Sarah continuously provides her clients with different and better ways of managing their business. She has helped business owners and leaders improve their systems through implementing new software such as Xero. Helping her clients to use the latest software allows them to access the strategic insights that come with better data along with the day-to-day operational efficiencies that strong systems provide as well.
Not every business owner and leader understand all the technical accounting terms and concepts. Sarah has the ability to determine the level of understanding her clients may have to tailor her communication accordingly. Explaining complexity with simplicity is one of Sarah’s unique strengths. Further, as the key contact on audit field work, she knows how to manage colleagues and clients alike to ensure work is completed accurately, on time, and with the strategic insights a business needs to continue growing.
Joining DFK Crosbie in 2011, Sarah has been a manager with the firm since 2021. She remains a manager of the firm following the merge of DFK Crosbie and Pitcher Partners Newcastle and Hunter to unite under the Pitcher Partners brand in late-2021.
